I’m really into the preppy-inspired fashion looks for winter time. I like mixing classic pieces and pairing them with warmer layers. I recommend incorporating patterned tights under dresses/skirts, socks under oxford flats, and blazers under my coats. A great way to start layering is by wearing a scarf. There’s so many different shapes and techniques to tie them. I love wearing plaid scarves in the winter time, they’re perfect for dressing up any outfit and doubling up as a wrap when it gets colder. This scarf is from Rue21 but you can find some similar ones here for less than $6!
As we transition into the fall weather, I’m glad that I can finally restyle my summer pieces by adding layers. As the temperature drops, I love transitioning into a neutral color palette. I decided to keep the base color of my outfit black so the color white could stand out and make the shoes and vest pop.
I was recently sponsored by Madora, it’s an online shopping app from San Franciso that is geared towards women to shop in a personalized store of shoes and bags. I decided to pick out a pair of heels that had a more clean, contemporary feel to it. The shopping experience for me was easy because I knew what style I was looking for. They have quite a large selection but they can pick out items to specifically match you, your life, and your style. They have a large variety from vintage inspired shoes to basic must-haves to glitzier night-out heels. Madora also does a really great job with responding to emails and keeping you updated about your package. I absolutely love my heels. I’m really into bold pieces and I like how the black and white straps a unique touch. Personally, I don’t wear open-toed heels a lot but these were so comfortable. I love how the heels are easy to walk in because its chunkier, shorter, shape and the ankle strap is my favorite part. I hope you like the way I style the heels! I decided to play around with the contemporary vibe so I feel like different cuts and lengths of clothing helps achieve a more minimal look, but I mainly made sure that my top and dress pants were more fitted. Also, feel to check Madora out by clicking the link below! (It will automatically link you to the shopping app) 🙂

For this specific look, I wanted to keep the color palette muted but maintain a fresh, summery look. My first Rocksbox included very minimalistic gold jewelry pieces like a dainty gold chain necklace, a thin jeweled ring, and these spiked studded earrings which were my absolute favorite! You probably also noticed something different about my hair, I decided to lighten it for the summer! I had my hair recently bayalaged modeling for Pravana, so the color of my hair is a lot more vibrant which went perfect with the white and gold colors! I started off with a white summery dress so the necklace could be seen on top of it. Then I paired the look with white and brown espadrilles, a brown purse, and sunglasses. The over look was very simple but accessories really are a girl’s best friend; the main focus was to highlight the beautiful jewelry and keep the overall look simple. Take a look at my outfit pictures below! Also, don’t forget to use the code at checkout below to get a whole month of free Rocksbox!

Sorry I haven’t been posting as much lately. But I’m glad that I’m finally getting to blog about my last outfit from my trip to New York! This is probably one of my favorites since I’m in love with fur vests and thigh-high boots. We spent our last full day hanging out around the Upper East Side, Lauderee, and Central Park. Central Park is pure beauty, I can see why it’s such an iconic place to go to in New York. The trees and crisp autumn air made everything even more breathtaking. I loved all the warm tones between golden hues and burnt oranges. I hope you love this look!
This was my second time this year going to the Ariana Grande Concert this year and she definitely does not disappoint! I went to support my amazing cousin/dancer Max Pham Nguyen (he’s in the last picture of the post) and it was an amazing performance! We were surprised with front row tickets this time and I went with my two best friends: Dania and Renee! We all went for neutral colors: taupe, grays, black, and nude tones.
I absolutely love Ariana Grande’s style with crop tops, pencil skirts, and of course, a lot of black. My outfit for the concert was inspired by her look in her “Love me Harder” music video. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to buy the lace crop top that I wanted so I opted for a black bustier with a lace covering. I paired it with a black pencil skirt but decided to wear neutral accessories so I wore big pear stud earrings and nude heels. My makeup was also Ariana Grande inspired so I had thicker winged eyeliner and plum lipstick. I put a few strands of my hair back so it would be half up and half down. I managed to make 3 headbands with bunny ears for me and my friends! We decided to go with bunny ears because we thought that it would be a little bit more different than the usual cat ears. It was such a fun project and so easy to do! I used black nail polish to paint a neon-colored headband, wire, and three different types of lace/black shirts (from thrift stores) to cut up and use the material as the fabric for the lace ears, the ears’s trim, and the veil. It was definitely a really creative project and really completed the look!
