Can’t Be Tamed-Ombre Fur Vest

I can’t believe that December is finally here! I’m so excited for all the upcoming holiday festivities from Ugly-Christmas-sweater parties, drinking hot chocolate, hanging up sparkly ornaments, and attending the Nutcracker ballet. I love carrying on these old traditions and creating new memories with all of my friends. Of course, I need the perfect winter wardrobe.

There’s something about wearing fur that makes me feel so glamorous and cozy. I love layering outfits and this ombre fur vest from Tobi is perfect for dressing up a simple outfit. I love how unique this piece is because the gradient color effect adds dimension to my outfit.

Since I was wearing very muted colors, I decided to add a few sparkly accessories but I wanted my vest to be the main statement piece of my outfit. Fur vests are perfect for a casual winter outfit with skinny jeans and boots. But if you’re looking for something a little more glamorous, I would pair it with a LBD underneath and a sparkly necklace. I recommend getting this blush fur vest from their website but if you’re wanting something a little more bold and different, then check out this green vest. I also like this vest because it’s made out of a fuzzy material, not faux fur.

Minimal-Black ft. White (w/ Madora Heels)

Happy Friday and cheers to the weekend everyone!

As we transition into the fall weather, I’m glad that I can finally restyle my summer pieces by adding layers. As the temperature drops, I love transitioning into a neutral color palette. I decided to keep the base color of my outfit black so the color white could stand out and make the shoes and vest pop.

I was recently sponsored by Madora, it’s an online shopping app from San Franciso that is geared towards women to shop in a personalized store of shoes and bags. I decided to pick out a pair of heels that had a more clean, contemporary feel to it. The shopping experience for me was easy because I knew what style I was looking for. They have quite a large selection but they can pick out items to specifically match you, your life, and your style. They have a large variety from vintage inspired shoes to basic must-haves to glitzier night-out heels. Madora also does a really great job with responding to emails and keeping you updated about your package. I absolutely love my heels. I’m really into bold pieces and I like how the black and white straps a unique touch. Personally, I don’t wear open-toed heels a lot but these were so comfortable. I love how the heels are easy to walk in because its chunkier, shorter, shape and the ankle strap is my favorite part. I hope you like the way I style the heels! I decided to play around with the contemporary vibe so I feel like different cuts and lengths of clothing helps achieve a more minimal look, but I mainly made sure that my top and dress pants were more fitted. Also, feel to check  Madora out by clicking the link below! (It will automatically link you to the shopping app) 🙂

Weekend Plaid

New York instantly grew on me, I’m still mesmerized by it’s beauty and I’m craving some gyro and amazing street food..Maybe going back in the Spring doesn’t sound like such a bad idea…Well we spent our third day doing some sightseeing; across Brooklyn Bridge, Chinatown, and we went to meet up with a friend for dinner at a restaurant called “Heart of India” and their pistachio ice-cream is absolutely delicious! Check out some of my pictures from the trip below!

My Look:

Packing was lot easier since I mainly focused on the tops I was wearing instead of a head-to-toe outfit. I loved the Burberry-inspired print on this scarf and I like how it doubles up as a blank and cardigan. To stay extra warm, I wore a turtleneck as my main top underneath the cardigan. I have been addicted to wearing poncho-inspired items this season to the point where I wear them every day to class since they’re so comfortable and easy to throw on over a plain shirt. I wanted to keep the color palette simple so I stuck with khaki and cream shades and wore brown accessories like my sunglasses and purse.
