I know it’s not even Christmas yet, but I still love dressing up for the holiday season! It really is the best time of the year; there’s so many festive colors and beautiful lights. I’ve always loved wearing black around winter time but adding red makes it feel a little merrier for Christmas. Since I’m already wearing a textured top and tights, I decided to balance out my look with a solid colored skirt and matte black heels. I love pairing sequins and lace together, it’s such a girly combination!
I’m so excited to start blogging about my new items from Tobi! They recently contacted and sponsored me with a few items for a merchandise collaboration with fashion bloggers. I chose out a variety of items ranging from fall pieces to dressy items and I can’t wait to share each of the looks with you guys later this week, so stay tuned. Be sure to check out their website at www.Tobi.com as well. I’m obsessed with their website and their Instagram; they have such a huge selection of clothes for all types of occasions. My favorite part about Tobi is that it has a minimalist, unique style.
I decided to step out of my comfort zone and pick out a piece from their fall collection that is a bit more bold. I absolutely love this lace bodysuit! They sell the top into two different colors, black and wine.I love how bodysuits are form-fitting and comfortable. This maroon bodysuit fits perfectly for the fall; the lace detail was not only on the sleeves but on the entire back as well. I also decided to pair this sultry look with dark red velvet booties.
Sorry for the lack of blog posts. I’ve been super busy tanning in this summer heat and hanging out with my amazing best friends. We love to explore different parts of Dallas and we found this adorable french-inspired bakery. Check out Bisous Bisous Patisserie as well as their amazing Instagram showcasing all of their mouth-watering pastries and colorful macarons! The outdoor seating area is my absolute favorite; I’ve definitely found my mini Paris-inspired spot right here in Dallas.
I absolutely loved this light grey dress although I wasn’t sure how it would look before I tried it on. I love how it’s a form-fitting dress but the lace keeps it looking classic and simple which is perfect to wear to brunch, weddings, and other summery formal events! Tip: For classy Spring/summer events, pastels are great. Keep the tones muted. If you like the sophisticated high-necklines, this dress would be perfect. I also love this one because the bottom of the dress has a scalloped lace edge. And if you’re stepping out of your color comfort zone and looking for something a little sexier, check this dress out, it’s only $20!!
Hello lovelies 🙂 I can’t believe school has already started. But while the warm summer season lasts, I’ll take advantage of it. I love wearing bright colors in the summer and I love how bold they look in pictures. I noticed my color palette seemed very cotton-candy inspired and Barbie-doll like. I tried to keep the overall look girly so I paired huge sparkly accessories with my outfit. I also found a shirt with a frilly lave detail and tucked it into an A-line flared skirt. I hope you love the look!
Hello lovelies! I hope you are all doing well! I’m sorry I haven’t been posting as much, exam week has been quite stressful but I’m glad that I found some time to start blogging again!
I’m in love with this outfit, especially the skirt. My best friend Dania Badawi let me borrow her Valentine’s Day outfit for this shoot! She has such a classic, vintage style and she’s inspired by pastels and the 1950s (Check out her amazing Instagram!) I love how she styled this look, it’s so chic and simple. The skirt is from ChicWish and they have the most absolutely STUNNING skirts. I’ve seen so many bloggers posts pictures in their beautiful mid-calf length skirts and I’m in love with each and every one. I’m definitely going to invest in some of my own but there’s just too many cute options!
This was my second time this year going to the Ariana Grande Concert this year and she definitely does not disappoint! I went to support my amazing cousin/dancer Max Pham Nguyen (he’s in the last picture of the post) and it was an amazing performance! We were surprised with front row tickets this time and I went with my two best friends: Dania and Renee! We all went for neutral colors: taupe, grays, black, and nude tones.
I absolutely love Ariana Grande’s style with crop tops, pencil skirts, and of course, a lot of black. My outfit for the concert was inspired by her look in her “Love me Harder” music video. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to buy the lace crop top that I wanted so I opted for a black bustier with a lace covering. I paired it with a black pencil skirt but decided to wear neutral accessories so I wore big pear stud earrings and nude heels. My makeup was also Ariana Grande inspired so I had thicker winged eyeliner and plum lipstick. I put a few strands of my hair back so it would be half up and half down. I managed to make 3 headbands with bunny ears for me and my friends! We decided to go with bunny ears because we thought that it would be a little bit more different than the usual cat ears. It was such a fun project and so easy to do! I used black nail polish to paint a neon-colored headband, wire, and three different types of lace/black shirts (from thrift stores) to cut up and use the material as the fabric for the lace ears, the ears’s trim, and the veil. It was definitely a really creative project and really completed the look!
I had such an amazing time this past week at the Nasher Sculpture Center’s Garden Party! This was my very first year attending and there was so much to enjoy! There was amazing food from Wolfgang Puck Catering, beautiful contemporary sculptures to adore, music by DJ Lucy Wrubel, and rose-gold champagne to sip. The show stopper for the night was a beautiful Stanley Korshak fashion show featuring stunning gowns!
The attire was “Derby Chic” and honestly, I did feel a little bit under-dressed at this party since some people were wearing gorgeous gowns and intricate Derby hats. I went for an overall “classic vintage” look so I stuck with black for my color palette. I played up my look with lace, diamonds, and of course, red lipstick! The overall look was very simple but elegant and the lower cut lace front of the dress was something different that I’ve never tried before. I was actually able to thrift my dress so I’m not sure what brand it is! I tend to get very lucky with thrift shopping so I find various deals and this dress was only $12! The hat I wore was really large but comfortable but the evening was a little bit hotter than I intended. I can’t wait until next year to fully plan out an outfit and maybe opt for lighter blush colors! I think I’ve been way too excited for fall lately so I’m quickly rushing into the darker tones in my closet haha. Unfortunately, it got dark very quickly so we didn’t get to take many pictures!
