Minx NY has such a colorful selection of cozy accessories. Their philosophy is built around the “Hygge lifestyle”-the idea that life should be full of pleasure, meaning, and beauty. And what better way to practice this idea than with warm accessories that are both comfortable and fashionable!
I absolutely love knee-high socks, they have a way of elongating your legs and they’re perfect for layering over tights or under leg-warmers. I recommend wearing knee-highs with shorter-hemmed bottoms like skirts and shorts. It’s also a perfect trick to still wear some of your favorite summer pieces in the winter!
Check out some of my other favorite pieces from their website like these gorgeous knee-highs trimmed with lace, this taupe fur pom-pom beanie, and this elegant fur shawl.
I’ve noticed that the choker trend has been making a huge comeback and I love how this trend is not only seen with the necklaces but for tops and dresses as well. I fell in love with this bodycon dress from Tobi and I couldn’t resist getting it. It’s a form fitting bodycon with that features the choker neckline and a front bandeau design (they sell it in the colors black and mauve). I decided to pick the color mauve since the light lilac color is soft and feminine for such an edgy-styled dress. I wasn’t sure how the color would look on my skin tone but after trying it on, I love it! I wanted to keep the rest of my look simple so I paired this dress with neutral-toned accessories. There’s something about this dress that made me feel so effortlessly chic when I wore it out to around Dallas just to get some pastries at a local bakery. When shopping for dresses, I recommend looking for versatile pieces that can be worn both during the day and for a night out. This helps you utilize your closet and you can have a lot more fun when it comes to accessories!
I’m really into the preppy-inspired fashion looks for winter time. I like mixing classic pieces and pairing them with warmer layers. I recommend incorporating patterned tights under dresses/skirts, socks under oxford flats, and blazers under my coats. A great way to start layering is by wearing a scarf. There’s so many different shapes and techniques to tie them. I love wearing plaid scarves in the winter time, they’re perfect for dressing up any outfit and doubling up as a wrap when it gets colder. This scarf is from Rue21 but you can find some similar ones here for less than $6!
Let the holiday festivities begin! To me, holidays are all about spending time with family and friends. I love creating a “Winter Bucketlist” every year to carry on my favorite traditions like looking at Christmas lights, candy cane exchanges with my best friend, and baking gingerbread cookies. I also love trying out new wrapping paper ideas and planning the perfect holiday outfit!
Red is such a classic, timeless color so I decided to wear this fit and flare dress. Fur is a huge trend during winter months. I love the jewel toned fur items like plum, emerald green, and sapphire. But I decided to keep the outfit simple by pairing it with a white coat and black patterned tights. Tights are great way to still wear dresses and skirts during the cold weather but the printed ones are so much more fun to wear! I hope you love the look and Happy Holidays everyone!
I know it’s not even Christmas yet, but I still love dressing up for the holiday season! It really is the best time of the year; there’s so many festive colors and beautiful lights. I’ve always loved wearing black around winter time but adding red makes it feel a little merrier for Christmas. Since I’m already wearing a textured top and tights, I decided to balance out my look with a solid colored skirt and matte black heels. I love pairing sequins and lace together, it’s such a girly combination!
I can’t believe that December is finally here! I’m so excited for all the upcoming holiday festivities from Ugly-Christmas-sweater parties, drinking hot chocolate, hanging up sparkly ornaments, and attending the Nutcracker ballet. I love carrying on these old traditions and creating new memories with all of my friends. Of course, I need the perfect winter wardrobe.
There’s something about wearing fur that makes me feel so glamorous and cozy. I love layering outfits and this ombre fur vest from Tobi is perfect for dressing up a simple outfit. I love how unique this piece is because the gradient color effect adds dimension to my outfit.
Since I was wearing very muted colors, I decided to add a few sparkly accessories but I wanted my vest to be the main statement piece of my outfit. Fur vests are perfect for a casual winter outfit with skinny jeans and boots. But if you’re looking for something a little more glamorous, I would pair it with a LBD underneath and a sparkly necklace. I recommend getting this blush fur vest from their website but if you’re wanting something a little more bold and different, then check out this green vest. I also like this vestbecause it’s made out of a fuzzy material, not faux fur.
I’ve always loved leather jackets but I never thought about wearing it as a skirt! This skirt from Tobi is something I have fallen in love with because there are so many ways to style it.
My favorite part about this skirt is how it has such a sophisticated silhouette but has an urban-chic accent with the zipper. It’s such a bold, statement piece so I decided to wear it more casually with a light grey tee and plaid.
I love mixing plaid and leather together, I think that it’s a perfect combination for fall and winter. I find experimenting with new styles so fun especially since the colder weather allows us to wear more layers. I suggest stepping out of your usual comfort zone and trying different luxe materials like velvet, leather, and fur.
TOBI sponsored me with this skirt, all opinions are mine.

I’m so excited to start blogging about my new items from Tobi! They recently contacted and sponsored me with a few items for a merchandise collaboration with fashion bloggers. I chose out a variety of items ranging from fall pieces to dressy items and I can’t wait to share each of the looks with you guys later this week, so stay tuned. Be sure to check out their website at www.Tobi.com as well. I’m obsessed with their website and their Instagram; they have such a huge selection of clothes for all types of occasions. My favorite part about Tobi is that it has a minimalist, unique style.
I decided to step out of my comfort zone and pick out a piece from their fall collection that is a bit more bold. I absolutely love this lace bodysuit! They sell the top into two different colors, black and wine.I love how bodysuits are form-fitting and comfortable. This maroon bodysuit fits perfectly for the fall; the lace detail was not only on the sleeves but on the entire back as well. I also decided to pair this sultry look with dark red velvet booties.
As we transition into the fall weather, I’m glad that I can finally restyle my summer pieces by adding layers. As the temperature drops, I love transitioning into a neutral color palette. I decided to keep the base color of my outfit black so the color white could stand out and make the shoes and vest pop.
I was recently sponsored by Madora, it’s an online shopping app from San Franciso that is geared towards women to shop in a personalized store of shoes and bags. I decided to pick out a pair of heels that had a more clean, contemporary feel to it. The shopping experience for me was easy because I knew what style I was looking for. They have quite a large selection but they can pick out items to specifically match you, your life, and your style. They have a large variety from vintage inspired shoes to basic must-haves to glitzier night-out heels. Madora also does a really great job with responding to emails and keeping you updated about your package. I absolutely love my heels. I’m really into bold pieces and I like how the black and white straps a unique touch. Personally, I don’t wear open-toed heels a lot but these were so comfortable. I love how the heels are easy to walk in because its chunkier, shorter, shape and the ankle strap is my favorite part. I hope you like the way I style the heels! I decided to play around with the contemporary vibe so I feel like different cuts and lengths of clothing helps achieve a more minimal look, but I mainly made sure that my top and dress pants were more fitted. Also, feel to check Madora out by clicking the link below! (It will automatically link you to the shopping app) 🙂
Happy Sunday everyone! 🙂 I really do think that time flies, I can’t believe it’s been over a year since I’ve launched my blog! I’m so thankful for everything that has happened this past year because it has been full of so many wonderful experiences and I can’t wait to see what’s in store next. I’ve changed up a couple things with my blog format as well as added a “Contact” button to my Instagram page so I’m looking forward to more collaborations. I’m so excited for upcoming projects, collaborations, and other fun surprises to share with you guys within the next year.
I decided to create a more whimsical look to announce the one year anniversary of my blog. I think it’s interesting how I had the freedom to create more feminine, sophisticated look with a child-like tutu. I wanted my outfit to look girly and white so I paired it with diamond earrings, heels, and this beautiful top. I ordered this off of AliExpress.com for less than $10! Keep in mind that this top is from China so shipping does take little longer than usual. Also, personally, I didn’t like the inner white lining so I cut it out myself and I just wear the top over a nude bra. My favorite part of is that it’s a crop top but also long sleeved. It’s very comfortable and made out of a light fabric and I’m obsessed with the crochet texture.
